Cricket and Playing Fields
Great Braxted Cricket & Playing Fields are privately owned and maintained by Great Braxted Parish Council.
In the interest of all, please kindly respect the following field(s) rules:
- No Littering, Vandalism or Dog Fouling
- No Camping
- No Fires, Fireworks or Barbeques
- No Person(s) being excessively intoxicated and/or disturbing the peace in a public place
- No illegal drugs on the premises
- No Heavy goods vehicles, unauthorised parking or driving across the land (excludes Bluelight Services)
- No Commercial, Industrial, or Professional Activities
- No Animals other than Dogs
- No Loud Music or External Speakers
- No Festivals or Music Events
- No Dogs in the playground area or off-lead in the playing field
- No Model Aircraft (incl. Drones) and/or Model Cars
This area is not a registered village green and no deemed rights under the Village Greens Act exist.
Great Braxted Parish Council & Village assets are protected in accordance with the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
There are no public rights of way (other than signed posted footpath).
Great Braxted Parish Council will not be held liable for loss, damage or personal injury.
Some rules can be renounced for village-organised events which have received written permission from the Parish Council.
Failure to adhere to the rules could result in being instructed by the Parish Council or a Representative, to leave the land/property. Refusal to leave upon request will be considered trespassing and may result in prosecution.
Any complaints or misuse should be reported to the Parish Council Clerk.
