Council meeting dates

Great Braxted Parish Council Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of every other (odd) month and are held at 8pm in the Village Pavilion. There is an Public Session in each meeting during which parishioners can raise relevant subjects for discussion and consideration by the Council.

The Annual Parish Meeting is held in May. This is the opportunity for all the local electors of the parish to get together and voice their opinions, on matters raised on the agenda. This is NOT a Parish Council meeting but the Chairperson of the Parish Council or the Vice-Chairperson presides over the meeting and local groups are invited to attend to report on their activities over the year.

Meeting dates for 2025-26

Meetings are scheduled to take place on the following dates:

• Tuesday 13th May 2025
• Tuesday 8th July 2025
• Tuesday 9th September 2025
• Tuesday 11th November 2025
• Tuesday 13th January 2026
• Tuesday 10th March 2026

The agenda is issued at least 3 working days prior to the meeting and displayed on this Agenda page and on the  village noticeboard. If you do not have internet access a printed copy can be obtained from the Clerk by prior arrangement.
